In all of this there has only been agreement that there should be enforcement ability; no process for same nor limits on fines, fees etc. We do not want to be neighborhood Nazi's and we don't want to take people's homes for minor infractions which can add up if taken to court with court costs and fees. What is the procedure? And again, anything at all that can be deferred to Gretna Code should be. Let's not forget it is time consuming to track these violations and where matters stand, plus there are costs involved in leins and attorneys. Let's also not forget that there are already public relation issues in the neighborhood and being unduly harsh will not help matters or sales.
1. Citation? 2, Time frame to correct? 3. Hearing? - who runs said hearings? set up procedure?
4. Fees? - set maximum fee 5. At what point place lein? 6. Small claims court?
